What is the benefits of SigenStor?

SigenStor is a compact, scalable 5-in-1 Home ESS that integrates a hybrid inverter, optional EV DC-charger, battery conversion system, battery pack (6 or 9 kWh), and advanced EMS—suitable for homes and commercial solar installations.

How many battery Modules can I install and can I expand later?

Each SigenStor energy controller supports 1–6 either 6kWh or 9 kWh battery modules. For greater capacity, simply add more SigenStor battery units – letting you grow from 5 kWh up to 2 MWh without replacing existing hardware.

Can I add new batteries to an old system, and can I install different battery sizes to my system?

Yes. Every SigenStor battery has a built-in optimizer, allowing you to mix old and new modules, as well as different sizes (like 6 kWh with 9 kWh), in one stack. Each module’s optimizer manages voltage and state-of-charge independently, ensuring balanced performance, easy upgrades, and smooth expansion.

How do I monitor and control my SigenStor System?

The built-in EMS provides local dashboards, and you can connect to mySigen app for real-time monitoring, performance analytics, firmware updates and remote troubleshooting

What is the SigenStor Warranty?

SigenStor offers a limited 10-year warranty on the main components (Inverter and Battery) and 2year warranty on sup components (LED Side Lights and Switch Gear)

Is the EV DC Charger Optional?

The EV DC-charger is an optional component. Should you wish to charge your electric vehicle directly from solar or battery power at high DC efficiency, we will include the module in your SigenStor system.

How would I know what size system I require?

We design custom-made systems based on your requirements such as peak load requirements, Day time energy usage and evening usage. As well as future proofing your system to ensure that should you load requirement change you can effortlessly expand your system.

How Many Solar Panels would I require and What would the size of the panels be?

The quantity of panels and the size will be determent by what your energy usage is.

What size battery capacity do I need?

The battery capacity is dependent on your evening energy requirements as well as how much of your evening energy you want to power with the battery.

  I have waited  a few month's before I written this, as I wanted to see how well, will the system fair next to my 30kva genartor. I have never been more impressed with a service, quilty of product, turn up time, and efficiency. Loadshed is a distance memory, and I have nort even felt the blackout, or heard  my genartor, which now is will be sold. The system is Seamless  and the saving on electricity itself is amazing.
